Introduction

Second year of college, here we go!

As I start my second year of college, I find it interesting to look back on my first college year. My name is Ainhoa Leoz and I’m currently studying History and Journalism at the University of Navarra. Since one of my classes is “Multimedia Communication” and I'm creating a blog, I thought, what would be better for my first blog entry than a view through last year's experience? 

First day of class 

I can totally relate to what freshmen might be feeling. A mix between nervousness, excitement, and of course, intrigue. I remember my first day as a pretty good one. I met lots of new people from all over the world and I really liked the University facilities. When me and my colleagues settled down, it was pretty much as high school. We went to class, we took notes and we studied, but it felt like we actually had freedom rather than feeling dependent as we, or at least I, did before. Besides, I participated in a congress named Forun that took place in the University of Navarre, and for my (and my 3 teammates) surprise... we won it! Which made us feel pretty awesome to be honest. Thanks to all of this, I was able to get an internship for this past summer at a museum in Madrid named "Lázaro Galdiano" and I highly recommend it to everyone. 

There's not much more I can actually explain since I believe college is something you have to experience yourself to truly understand it. But what I can say is that I’m up for this forthcoming year.
